Enerpro Partners in the Vancouver Olympic Village Projects

A solution from Enerpro's customizable, energy management systems, has been selected for the groundbreaking innovative Millennium Water (Vancouver Olympic Village) Project. Energy savings are one of the primary, sustainable goals, in this 1100 residential unit project, designed for LEED Gold certification.

Enerpro has provided technology for each suite that will indicate consumption and dollar value of the energy being used, to the occupants. The solution means that occupants pay only for energy that they use, resulting in fair cost allocation in a multi-tenant building.

The energy savings goal is to reduce consumption by increasing user awareness.

Sustainable design highlights of the Millenium project include: optimum energy performing homes, climate responsive design, a healthier greenhouse gas neutral neighbourhood, water conservation measures, and design to lower energy costs. With an energy savings goal to reduce consumption by increasing user awareness, Enerpro’s technology will now help the individuals living in 1100 units do their part to protect the planet.

 

The Business Case for Energy Efficiency …is the whole picture

When building managers look at the whole energy picture of a building the benefits become clear, says Enerpro’s President, Nick Farina. Many of Enerpro’s customers have adopted the “energy attitude” recommended by BC Hydro <bchydro.com>. Enerpro helps building managers identify energy opportunities, like inefficient equipment; and analyze the cost and benefits by looking at lifecycle costs, to come up with a program that considers all the benefits.
